Caprice is a top hat mk1 that once sailed around the world, but now it lies in tambourine bay in the lane cove river, does anybody know what is happening to her, i always check on it every week but nothing ever changes on it. i would love to talk to the owner or if anybody knows anything about her. i love this boat and would like to know about what is happening to it.

"Caprice" was owned by Ian and Jan Mitchell. Ianm is Ian's user name on this forum, but I believe he's only visited a few times since 2009, when his son Jamie had returned from his trip in "Possibilities". These journeys, or the stories I've read about them are the main reason we too bought a Top Hat.

Sorry that they're only bitmaps, that's all I could get them up at.

You may be able to contact Ian and Jan via a PM here, but they don't own the boat any longer of course.

It may be possible to find out the owner's details from Maritime, or perhaps one of the local brokers or boatsheds will know more.
