My wife Janet and I have recently purchased a top hat Mk. 3. Essentially the same as a Mk.2 inside.

We have seen advertisements for top hats with ice boxes. We have a deisel engine which reduces interior space.

Can anyone help us decide where we can install a decent sized ice box.

Hi, I own the TopHat thats for sale here and the ice box is located under the V-berth. The insulation is a good 3-4 cm thick and it is the size of a medium esky (could hold about 3 cartons of beer at a pinch ;-) ). Have a look at the picture of the V-berth on our web site, the icebox is the size of the centre cushion.

Hope that helps

Cheers
Michael.
