Social Sailing Sydney Harbour

Social Sailing Sydney Harbour

Postby admin » Tue Jun 01, 2010 8:51 pm

Hi all

Any interest in organising a couple of social sails on Sydney Harbour over the next few months

Sail / raft up for lunch / sail etc, maybe even an overnight-er if there is sufficient interest

Any interest?

Hi Dan,

If the conditions were OK and it was on a weekend or during the school holidays I would consider sailing down for an overnighter. Where would we get together?

Cheers,
Mark

Count me in, especially if its in a few months time.
But I'm not going any more than 500m offshore!

Gday All,

Everyone start throwing out a few dates that would suit them, & others might be able to coordinate with them.
How about Sat 19th/Sun 20th June? &/or Sat 3rd/Sun 4th July?

I still have Night Cap sitting in pittwater on a mooring i can use anytime, it would be fun to have a few Top Hats sailing down from Broken Bay to the Harbour for the weekend! 8-)

cheers

We could have the first Top Hat ocean race series from Broken Bay to Sydney Harbour! Something like a mini Transat race. Female competitors may have to paint their boats pink?
I'd prefer the later dates.

Hi All,

Later date would be better for me also. A race down the coast to Sydney sounds like fun, provided there is some breeze and sunshine.

Cheers,
Mark

Hi, I am hoping to sail down on the long weekend anyway. Weather permitting.
In July with luck I am on holidays.
So if not June long weekend would need to be late July or August for me
