ADAMS 31

Hi all - does anyone know much about the Adams 31 and its reputation? Looking at an 84 Adams which seems like a perfect boat, but interested to know if anyone's owned one or been on one and also if there's anything in particular to keep an eye out for?

Hi Brendan

I have very limited knowledge other than they are a very popular around the cans boat -- are you looking to cruise or get into the go fast stuff?

If I was looking for something in this size I would be also considering the likes of the Swansons

Or renovate top knot, and add a few feet on the back!

HI Karl - more around the cans and the ability to cruise for a week or so at a time.

We've done a few 3+ day trips on Top Knot (which is an awesome boat) but looking for a bit more space. I've spent quite a bit on Top Knot in terms of new two pack, new winches, new exhaust for the yanmar etc etc - but adding 6 foot off the back sounds very expnsive!

So really looking for a boat that's got enough room to comfortably cruise and is fast enough to have some fun races in and not always be dead last.
