Cannot send messages?

Hi

I am trying to sent two messages to previous owners of Top Hat 27 yachts, but they have been stuck in my Outbox for a week now. When I hit "Submit" these messages do not go to my "Sent messages" mailbox, so I can only assume they do not reach the people they were sent to. I sent another message to admin mentioning this problem, but that one is stuck in my Outbox folder as well. So the only thing I can do is send a message here, hopefully someone knows what is going on.

Do private messages have to be approved somehow and this takes a long time? Or am I doing something wrong altogether?

Hi Hugo,

I think the message will only be moved from your Outbox to your Sent box when the recipient logs into the website and reads it. As far as I can recall, the website sends the recipient a message to tell them that there is a PM waiting to be read. If you are trying to contact ex-owners, the website might not have their current email address, or the recipient may have forgotten how to log on, or may not be interested.

I am surprised that Admin have not read their message. Phil is preparing for a voyage so may have been busy.

Hi Hugo, the PM process is exactly as Steve wrote, admin doesn't see or need to approve them.
Sorry I missed your message, I sometimes sign in as "shaun" instead of "admin", and had missed it.
