Hi, can anyone help with the history of "Antares". We have just purchased her in Victoria but I believe she was Sydney based prior to coming here 10 years ago.For photos (I'm not sure how to post them) she is still on Boats Online. Would appreciate any background on her. Thanks Gillian

Hi Gillian,
I can't provide any information on the history of your boat except to say that, if my memory is correct, she has been at Blairgowrie longer than 10 years.
From the photos she looks very well presented.
Are you keeping her at Blairgowrie? There are a few Top Hats in Westernport (including mine), several at Williamstown, one or two at St Kilda, one at Queenscliff, and probably some more that I am not aware of.
Steve

We will be keeping her at Blairgowrie, currently in the marina for the winter months then on a swing mooring that the previous owner has allowed us for the coming summer. Looking to get a mooring at Camerons Bight long term.

Hey mate. You beat me by about 10 days on buying her :D. I was just about to book a plane ticket to Melbourne when i saw she was sold. Oh well, I will find another boat. Theres one for sale closer to me at the Gold Coast. Good luck on finding her history.

Well done Gillian, we just purchased our old Top Hat ( Wild Rose) back. Based at WBBC Geelong so see you about the bay.
