one less Top Hat

Unfortunately it looks like a Top Hat was washed ashore and destroyed in Geilston Bay, Hobart, in the recent wild weather there.

Apparently it was a plywood build. I'm not sure of any other details.

The picture was sent to me by a friend that I rent my mooring from. I'm not sure whose boat it is, but I have to admit that my heart stopped for just a second when I opened his text and saw the picture. Condolences to whoever this boat belonged to.

I've asked me friend, who's a bosun in Hobart, if he
can find out the boat name. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
