I am not sure if this will work. I was at Shute Harbour a few days ago. It was sad to see so many boats ashore.

Wont be long before insurance on boats will be impossible to get.

Ouch!
Stony ground too so hull damage could be serious.
In the Fitzroy River, Rockhampton area, most of the boats that end up on the banks similar to those in the photo are able to be salvaged. Two main reasons. Being seriously tidal (4m), one hopes the water will come up again high enough to at least be able to drag the boat back in (even if one has to get one's mates in the water with shovels to gain an extra foot of depth while one stands watch for crocs.) The other reason being most of the banks are mud. Hulls usually are okay. Still, not a good feeling seeing boats up on the banks.
