Found on an old Family slide taken back in the late 60's early 70's I'm gessing a newly built Baker ?

I reckon that would have been exciting times, Top Hats coming onto the market. Even today the shape elicits plenty of comments like, "She's got great lines". People just seem to like the look. And it is not all aesthetics as I had an old NZ boatbuilder (who once had run a team building multi-million dollar boats) who admired it and said it looked a well-designed seaworthy boat.

Hello Phil and Troppo

You might be right ? I know Dad looked at the Triton 26 which is beside the Top Hat and in memory he liked the Triton 26's headroom and accommodation .The other problem was it wouldn't fit in the house if he was going to build one ,where as the Top Hat did (Jilpanger )
