G'day Hatters,
The Dawn Breaker has come along way over 1.5 years and we are starting to fit her out now.
I'm looking for a teak supplier that sells teak trim, I've gotten a couple of quotes from caporn's marine and they seem very pricey.
When the high tides get bigger, she will be coming out of the water and will be on the slip for a while as we have a lot to do!!
This week we hope to purchase a Tohatsu 8hp 25 inch 4 stroke, which has taken a lot of savings. Apprenticeship wages aren't the greatest, but they will get bigger! hopefully :)
Hope everybody had a great long weekend, shame it wasn't long enough
Cheers,

Dawn Breaker

Aaron,

Talk to Dave at Sydney Wood in Mona Vale. He has teak, mahogany and beech, as well as some more exotic timbers. I believe he is reasonably priced, but haven't really shopped anywhere else.

He's also an ex shipwright, so knows his stuff, including laying of teak decks. Sorry, don't have a number, but he's got a website.
