With only a week until The Big Fella arrives, who is doing what with their boats over the festive season?
I'm heading out with my two young nephews tomorrow and Gabi and I will be out on Dulcamara this Saturday with friends around Pittwater. We also have loose plans to spend a couple of other days including New Years Eve to watch the Newport Fireworks from Bayview.
I know Phillip and Shaun are planning to leave Camden Haven around Boxing Day, is any one else travelling, or spending time maintaining?

In Brisbane waters/Gosford it costs $800-1000 to have the yard do everything.
Cheers,
Mark

In Central Qld it has become excessively tropical the past week. At 8 am I am starting to sweat and that is in the shade and standing still, so out on the boat is a bit uncomfortable at the moment. If we get cooler weather I'll be out there doing more fixing. Not as exciting as actually sailing somewhere but it's gunna be great when it's finished.

Merry Christmas Michael and other Hatters,
Just back from a fun sail. Beating to Maitland Bay, a run back to Pittwater and the some excitement tacking behind Lion Island before beating back into Brisbane Waters. A gusty 25 knot N-NE breeze and a new crew member on board made for an interesting trip. The new crew member owned a Daydream 28 in the distant past and was very impressed by how well the little Top Hat handled the fresh conditions and choppy seas.
How lucky are we have such a wonderful cruising waterway at hand. Hope to catch up when Philip and Shaun make it to Broken Bay.
Seasons Greetings,
Mark

What am I going to do this Christmas?
I'm gunna retrieve my GPS logs after the bleedin' computer crashed due to malware and try and remember where I left the bleedin' boat.
Arrr its awful gettin' old.
Merry Christmas to everyone.
I hope next year is good to all.
See you on the water,
Greg.

Hi Hatters
I took Egret II for a motor for the first time in 13 years yesterday with my son aged 13? Motoring a Top Hat is quite boring ? But it is good to have a working BMTrouble .
Will be out and about on Lake Macquarie for the next 4 weeks sailing
Merry Christmas
PS Greg , the seagulls ,shags and the pelicans know where it is ?

Merry Christmas Hatters,
Well done Bear & your LM helpers, on getting your BMTrouble going!
Picked up my new donk today! (can you call OB's donks?), A Tohatsu 8hp LS, and one of the good brackets that miker has.
Looking forward to dropping Blue Moon's mooring line & heading Sth in convoy with Seaka from 2nd Jan, it'll be with minimal prep', been very busy, just moved into a new house we built, havent got the phone line on yet, so using a mobile pre-paid to start looking at weather now.
Also looking forward to catching up with "old" owners & meeting new TH owners on our way Sth, my goal is Eden.
Cheers
