Hello All,
I finally did it. Bought a Top Hat - a MK 11 with a Yanmar diesel. Slightly underestimated the work it needs, my son described it as a renovators dream. It seems pretty sound though and it floats so I am happy. ,
The interior needs painting. Has anyone had experience with this? I am not keen on using 2pack in that confined space, the prospect of breathing isocyanate doesn't appeal. Will one pack stick to fibreglass and do the job?
I would be grateful for any advice.
Bart

Congratulations Bart,
Welcome to the club. I have been refitting my top hat for some time now and I used ordinary dulux white enamel. Has lasted four years so far and should go 4 more. Only place that it has been scratched is where a pole has rubbed in the forwarded cabin. You can't see it unless you go up into the cabin.
So yes, I have found ordinary enamel paint OK.

My interior is painted on the underside of the deck and flowcoat was used. If persisting with single pack ensure that you use a primer first and expect that the paint will scratch off. I used single pack on the outside and plan to remove and replace with 2 pack due to the colour running.
Cheers
Phil
