Replacing a Toe Rail

Evening All,

On a Mark 1 we have the standard profile with the raised lip but Mark 1s' generally have a SS cover strip which is fixed with bronze pins that are roved over.

You do not remove this cover strip unless you really really have to!

Mark 1's do have scupper slots, 2 or 3 per side, as a feature.

We don't have to worry about timber toe rails, another reason to have a Mark 1! :D

Phillip.

PS. All pray now for a NE'er late next week or early the week after!
Phillip.

Thank you Bear.

But which one of those profiles do I need?

I can't see how any of them could be fitted as none look like they can accomodate the 'lip' from where the hull and deck join?

I tried ringing Ultich to ask which profile they would reccomend.

Answer... we can't tell you.. you have to tell us what you want.

Also they do not keep them in stock and a minimum order would be 250kg.

So looks like I am back to a timber toe rail.
