Are there any other Top Hat's without the under floor water tank?

Blue Moon MKIII, shallow draft, does not have the integral tank.

Mine used to have it, the underside of the floor, or the roof of the tank started to lose the gelcoat and the timber started to get wet. So whilst the void is still there, and there is now a bladder in place, I don't have an integral tank so to speak..... ;)

Yes.
Sea Lady has an under floor water tank.

The water in it and the tank were disgusting.

During her refit my shipwright filled the water tank with swimming pool chlorine.
Left it for a while - days - then we did lots and lots and lots of flushes.

Now I completely empty and refill my water tank every time I refuel.

I always start out with tank water [from my house supply] then top off with water containing chlorine when I cruise.

Have had no trouble since a major cleaning in 2006.

Always have at least 100 litres on board.
