Regarding the type of fuel to use.
98 Premium, is a high density fuel, and really only suited to high performance engines. It won't hurt the outboard as such, but can foul plugs in cooler environments where there is lots of low speed running.
95 Premium is perfect for any older style engine, including 2 strokes, as it is as close as possible to the old leaded fuel in its density and octane rating. This is usually the most economical to use. In tests on my cars and bikes, I spend less on petrol and go further on a 95 octane fuel.
91 unleaded WITHOUT Ethanol is also fine, but not as economical, even though it's cheaper. It just doesn't have as may additives for keeping the engine clean as does he 95.
91 WITH Ethanol is a no go, unless you have the engine manufacturers guarantee that the ethanol won't damage the fuel lines or seals.
