has anyone seen this on a Top Hat?

Luke just sent me this from LBC it's a 1983 model
See the rear skeg, presumably to aid in downwind stability

Interesting.

Hmm, that prop does not look right. Shouldn't the prop be in the cut-out on the hull so it is in front of the rudder, not behind it?

not talking about the prop Troppo which is right for a type three retrofit, you're trying to get this there'd onto inboard vs outboard on the first reply arnt you :)

I now realise the boat has been set up for circumnavigating. Rob and Phil you should be able to recognise the mod. It is designed only for turns to port, therefore the boat will circumnavigate Australia anti-clockwise.

I think with that model you pull the tiller hard to starboard and Use full power in reverse till you've swung the nose far enough starboard...
