HRYC Top Hat Race

From the Cliff at the HRYC:

Hi Everyone,

The Top Hat event was sailed yesterday.
Only two boats started Storm Petrel (Mark Butler) from Gosford, and Tokay (Steve Hayes) HRYC.

Though only two starters it provided good sailing conditions for a total of 7 people in Ideal Top Hat conditions.

Course Gunyah- Lion Is.- Gunyah.

Finish Times:

Storm Petrel 16:20:01
Tokay 16:26:54

Congratulations Storm Petrel 1st and Tokay 2nd.

Storm Petrel had an excellent start with her stem crossing the start line at the very moment the start clock countdown went to zero.
I want to see you do that next time Mark.

The Top Hat “Sea Lady” came and took in the finish too.
Sea Lady is a recent addition to Parsley Bay. I’m trying to get her involved “arm twisting etc” at least as a Boat Owner Member. See how we go.

Hope we get more starters next time .
