Photo trouble

Photo trouble

Postby Rod » Sun Jul 08, 2012 7:36 pm

Have tried to add some more photos of Sea Monkey but the following error:

The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels high. The submitted image is 500 pixels wide and 667 pixels high.

How can I fix this?

I assume you sorted this out Rod. Generally an error message like this means the photograph needs to be compressed before you load it.

G'Day Rod,
I'm not a computer expert, but I use a freeware program called Irfanview.
Its a great little program.
The site rejected the photo because, in this case the photo was more than 600 pixels high (660).

If you load Irfan you just go to image / resize resample and set one of the pixel dimensions to either 800 wide or the 600 high. I hope that helps. I don't know of anything in the normal microsoft office suite that will do that. If anyone knows I'd be keen to learn.

Hope it helps for what its worth. I hope I don't sound like I know what I'm doing. :o

If you are using Microsoft XP there is a "Powertoy" called Image re-sizer.
