always a debatable point!! First guide is yr of manufacturer, next is window layout, altho that is not definitive as some mk3's kept the old 3 window set up. Then the stepped mast determines a Mk1 from a Mk 2. Internally, well now you have opened a can of worms. locker or no locker, head at the end of the main berth or in its own closet etc etc etc. I have what is said to be a Mk2, however was manufactured in 1983, they stopped making mk2's in 1982 apparently. So good luck

It is ment to be a 83 build date, from the external shot we have 1 long window inliu of 3 but internally their is a large division dividing the window in 2. The interior fitout is not full factory with large amount of marine ply used in-liu of moulded friberglass. I can only assume that this was one of the first mk 3's because of the window design and the origional owner opted for a part fitout to reduce costs, or the yacht was built under licence somewere else other than form fit. The origional name of the boat was REWA 11 so if anyone has some information please post

sounds like you have the same problem as all the owners with boats built on the changeover years. Mine was built 1983 but is a mk2 fit out, notable different from yours. Would be great to find someone in Gosford who worked at the factory, must be someone and shed some light on it all

The moulds were bought by a former employee (according to a fellow at the Gosford Sailing Club) but for whatever reson he refuses to sell or use them. They are on a block of land at North Wyong (once again second hand info) . When I race next week I'll try and find out more.

cheers

I saw an ad for a TH moulds somehere ( i cannot remember but I suspect Trade a Boat) for $1000 a about 4-5 years ago. My th mk3 has the old hatch but appears to be otherwise a Mk 3. It was supposedly built in 83 and launched in 87
