autohelm ST1000

Hi fellow tophatters,

Have just purchased a new Autohelm ST1000 and wondering if anyone can recomend an installer around northern suburbs of sydney. Have noted previous posts about the difficulties of mounting autohelm on Mk1s with the position of locker lids. Does anyone have a pic of their successful installation? Any help appreciated

Mark,

I have mounted my own, so have made all the mistakes .

You will have to mount in the locker lid, but this is OK.

Mount on the STARBOARD side as they recommend, because of my wiring I used the Port side .

Measuring is important for the mount position and I will post my (Corrected) dimensions Monday or Tuesday for you.

Will also post a photo of the block for the mounting pin.
I am sure others will have this info and can comment on my efforts.

There are a couple of other tricks but I will post them with the info in a couple of days.
