Water tanks and fuel tanks

Water tanks and fuel tanks

Postby Aaron » Wed Feb 01, 2012 5:52 pm

G'day guys,
I have a mark 2, which has a 40 litre alloy water tank up in the v-berth, which looks like it has been built into the boat and has gone in before the cabin sole and deck. Do all tophats have this??
The water tank in the floor, is it 250 litres?? For a little boat they carry a lot of water!!!. Also my boat has a 20 litre desiel tank built in, under the port cockpit locker, is this common??.
Cheers,
Aaron

G'day Aaron,
The forward tank and the diesel tank, sound to me to be special order additions either at manufacture or later. The large tank in the cabin sole is usually 150 liters, although some later mark II and III have as little as 110 litres.
Hope you're enjoying your new toy!
