Shaun, the Boatlocker in Warriewood may have a second hand one for much less than your new Howmuchisitworths?

They don't have a web ordering system, very old school, but give them a call they may have what you need.

G'Day Phillip,
re your "Angel Weight" you say its 10kg. What is it made of and where did you get it? Lead of course would be the best but steel is easier to come by and a lot less costly.
I couldn't find a snatch block to attach the line to so I bought a Riley R17 block similar to a Ronstan RF469 (Whit Cat No 5207) and ground out the ferrule so it opens. I'll use a snap shackle to attach the weight.
Lucas recommends to lower the weight to the low tide depth. How do you use yours?
