Hi all
I sailed on a friends Top Hat in Sydney about 15 years ago and had the time of my life.
At present I own a Tornado but would like to purchase a TH.
Does anyone know if the design is in production at this time? if not what would you expect to pay for a "no additional work needed" boat?

THs in good condition vary a bit in price from around $17-$22,000 from what
I've seen recently. Have a look through Trade-a-Boat magazine. Extras like
27Meg, VHF radio, etc can vary the price a bit too. The type of motor (old
outboard vs newish inboard diesel) is another factor to consider. Before
purchase, get a survey on the slips - osmosis can be repaired but it will
cost some - depending on how it gets fixed (complete re-epoxy of undersides
about $3-4000).
