Hi,
I've owned a TH25 since July 1999, berthed at Scarborough Marina on Moreton Bay, Queensland. My first boat, a good design to learn to sail on. (And to learn about boat maintenance and improvement!)
Does anyone have a sail plan? Mine has a main and a genoa, (on a Reefurl furler). The genoa feels too small somehow, and is better balanced with a reef in the main.
Another problem is the front hatch. I've resealed it (using a section from a refrigeration insulation hose) but this is starting to leak again. Any ideas?
regards
Glenn

You could try Light spars of Australia in Moorabbin Vic. for sail plan info.Bob {ex sail maker, who now concentrates on spars}made the sails for the original Tophats in victoria.I believe there were three different mast heights.

Hi All
I own a Top Hat III which I keep moored on Lake Macquarie. Mostly I sail her on the lake but have sailed to Port Stephens and plan to do more coastal passages, e.g. to Broken Bay and Sydney.
Glenn, Whitworth's sell hatch seal tape: see the current catalogue page 111.
Can anyone point me to Websites or even books which give information on the Top Hat? I'd like to know the tonnage, the angle of vanishing stability etc.
Regards
Ralph
