I suspect you're right Shaun, here's a pic I swiped from another sailing site, my front ceiling looks like this, but I've also got the world's solidest bookshelves attached on either side of the hull, in case I ever need to ram through a bank vault. The entire vessel is so unbelievably solid, what with the huge wooden 'stringers' in the main cabin forming the sides of the beds, and the two 'bookshelves' in the main cabin, as well as transverse wooden beams beneath the cockpit floor, slightly reducing the amount of space in the cabin berths, it seems to have been designed to ram through an entire planet.
