There is an interesting tow off Sydney at the moment, The weather conditions at the moment are for a gale warning between Crowdy Hd and Norah head.
Look up Marine traffic.com and search for
Stena Clyde an oil rig
Farfonsa a tug and
Lady Sandra Oil rig anchor handling vessel.

Now that is an interesting website.
Seems like the rig is off Wollongong heading for Brisbane at 2.5 knots...... Long trip.

Off Bonny Hills now, was lit up like a small city over night, only going 1.6kts

Just made Port Macquarie at 1600 hours today after passing Bonny Hills at 0830 Hours.
Thats very slow as it's out in the East Coast Current which flows up to 5 knots towards the south!

Can still see it lit up now but well Nth, according to Marinetraffic, its ETA was 2300 wednesday, that isnt going to happen
