Any thoughts on a date for our next Port Phillip get together?
Some folk have suggested Ferguson St Pier again as a venue but it would be a bit of a trip for Dave and Rose.
Cheers,
Tom

any port is a trip for us, if its Ferguson St we will head up the day before. Late Jan or early Feb will do us.

I am in - the dates suggested are fine by me. Fergusson Street pier is my home port, so this is also fine. If we want to arrange a mid-way point, how about Martha's Cove as a possible venue?

How about 8/9 Feb?
25-27 (Aust Day w/e) is tempting but will be very busy in Williamstown as the last w/e of school holidays.
In the mean time we will be down at Queenscliff 24-31/12 (or near by) if anyone wants to catch up. 0419 161 201

Tom,
25-27 Jan or 7-8 Feb would both be OK for me.
I see that Tales is not back on her mooring yet. Are you still at Queenscliff?

Ferguson St Pier has a 4 hour berthing limit. However, there is always plenty of room so I doubt very much if any one will object if you stay overnight.
It is a good place to stay as it is well sheltered from all directions except the east (and we rarely get easterly winds). There is easy access to the cafes in Williamstown and there are public toilets nearby. There might be wash from occasional passing ships. A barge board is recommended as you will be alongside the piles which support the pier. There are good ladders to get up onto the pier.

We have overnighted at Ferguson Pier previously when it was quiet and nobody bothered us.
Alternately you could come to Brighton. Call Josh Deacon 0427 818 449 for a berth.
Give me a call and I will meet you if you like - we live close by.
Will be good to catch up at last!
Cheers,
Tom

Every one still ok for the 8th?
Weather looks promising so far!
Tales should be at Ferguson St Pier about 11:00

Tom
