Mid year get together

As my little toppy is coming along, I want to see others and get ideas and meet all you hatters.
Would a mid year get together be the go?? Maybe even a race??

Pittwater I was thinking as it is half way for the people from sydney and lake Macqurie

Unlike Lake Mac you can also sail into Pittwater and it would give you a chance to do a coastal hop Greg. How about we meet at the Basin one Saturday. There are always plenty of spare moorings and for $3.00 you can get access to the showers and toilets at the camp grounds, so those who wanted to stay the night could do so comfortably. The only problem would be that there are no stores, so it would be BYO, unless someone did a run over to Palm Beach. We should just set a date. Any suggestions Hatters?

Yes Bear, very helpful. How about Saturday the 5th, 12th or 19th of May at the Basin, before it gets too cool? Racing might be a problem because of insurance, but we could have a 'cruise in company' up from Sydney or down from Lake Mac. Or both?

The 19th sounds good, at the basin, it gives me time to slip my boat and get it into the state of a crusing yacht not a work barge

No good for me as I'm committed to a RFS aviation recertification at Albion Park that weekend.

Now if you all went down the south coast maybe I could get some aerial photos of the get together!
