Basin Get together 24/25 November

Sea Lady still coming.

Sonia from Curly Tops says that the boat will be there in spirit but is getting her bottom cleaned.
I may be able to pick her up and bring her over later in the day.

Dulcamara will be out on Sunday. We ave a reunion Saturday night.

I'll have the iPad and VHF standing by, and I think some have my number, so if any are out on Sunday, give me a shout for a raft up at lunchtime.

Just back form a lovely day at the Basin with Aaron and his dad (Ross) and Diana. Aaron and Ross motored up from Sydney( no wind) this morning and Diana turned up about 3.30 pm. Sea Lady looks fantastic! Made Storm Petrel look like she needed a tidy up. We sailed stormy across from Brisbane waters with the kite up and she flew across the bay( Ross had trouble keeing up in his supersonic 27). Aaron's boat sounded like a big project but he seems to have the drive and supportive father needed to tackle it. It was a pleasure to meet them both and I hope to see Aaron's sailing his own boat at the next get together.

Sorry we could not stay to catch up on Sunday Michael(my crew had commitments) but Aaron and Diana were staying this evening and you might catch them in the morning.

Be good to see a few more Top Hats at the next get together, hopefully at the HRYC in February.

Really impressed with your boat you should be proud of it. Thanks for the sail, really bought the dream back and alive.
Really hoping that we will be up here in february, but chances are slim as we have to buy a outboard and take her out for a slip.
