Dear Mr Greg,

I gave Jim, "Kathron" your number, he's a great guy and said he would try to call in and visit Lake Mac. I was incorrect in my previous post. His is a Mark 1, so that will make Bear happy.

I suggestedJim join the forum, but in my haste didn't give him my number. Hopefully Jim you're out there somewhere and will update is on your journey north to Hervey Bay.

The new King Doona was lovely, but there was only Gabi and I under it, all the others were too wet, and Joe was hungry, so preferred a steak instead of a doona test.

Russell, Anne and Joe and Jim, it was a pleasure to meet you and share some stories. I'm continually amazed at how much we hatters can discover we have in common. Let's hope the next gathering has a bigger turn out.

:D

Hi Diana,
I was at Fenwicks yesterday and spoke to the gent John who was working on your boat. He looks like a very capable fellow and it sounds like you have a big project(s) happening. Hope it all goes well and talking to the weather fairy on your behalf.
Cheers, john

Thanks John.

Mystery solved.
Yes he is very capable and keeps finding more things to fix.
He is a Master 5, carpenter, shipwright etc etc etc
What he does not know about boats and fixing them almost is not known.

Up until recently he was also a ferry driver, but that job was made redundant.
Hence now doing some other things.
He has done some carpentry work on my house and his workmanship is impeccable.

His speciality is fixing things that have 'a degree of difficulty'

She will be great.

Even better than before. If that is possible :D

I suppose you have all seen the news tonight, well this is why Shaun and I never got down to Pittwater!

The waves are about 6-7metres and note in the first one how rough the sea is out beyond the bar!
