A TIMELY REMINDER !!!

Postby DESIREMK1 » Sat Jan 11, 2014 9:45 am

Hi Guys / Gals ,

Just thought I had to share this picture , that I saved from the GUMTREE SYDNEY SITE . Given the nature of human movement , in that accidents will occur as a matter of course , let's hope that our next accident is a Sailboat free one !!!!

Hi Brad

I can't see what the problem is. I launch my kayak in a similar way, just slip it straight into the water. You can launch a Top Hat in the same way, but you must have your companionway hatch closed. Maybe I can see a problem, perhaps this sailor forgot to close the door before sliding the boat in. : )

Hi Troppo ,

Dont you just love the disregard some owners have , of their watercraft .

I can't say much about Boating Safety of late mate , given the way I have had my Mainsail stuck of late ( see my recent Thread in Maintenance ) . Though I have had the accumane to wait until I was in the middle of Pittwater Sound , to allow room , so as not to create an abrupt sandbanking . This is a real concern that I need to address !!!
